Extra possibilities

Surprising extras available on site

More and more guests are discovering that once you have arrived at The Cottage Beyond (TCB), if you've sorted your provisions there is no need to get in the car again, until of course it's time to return home.

The facilities here are superb with the beautiful house, landscaped garden, spa hall, farm to explore and oodles of local walks there is more that can be done!  So in this Blog we thought we would highlight some of the 'extras' that could enhance your experience at TCB.  The most frequently asked for 'add-on' is catering, but did you realise you could be pampered, painted, snapped, partake in a dance workshop or even be taught archery or clay pigeon shooting here on site?

Catering options are endless, if you are a foodie who is longing to get into the kitchen then you're in the perfect spot with fantastic equipment to hand but for those who want a rest from cooking then there are plenty of options.  All the major supermarkets are more than willing to deliver, but so too are Cook (good quality, good value frozen meals) as are our professional caterers.   The professional chiefs we list on our 'extras' page are all happy to discuss your requirements to accommodate your dreams and desires - from leaving you with pre-prepared dishes to pop in the oven to coming and catering for your entire stay or just doing a one-off super special 5 star silver service meal.  http://www.thecottagebeyond.co.uk/properties/the-cottage-beyond/extras

If it's a touch of pampering you need then the 'pampering team' led by Sue Hartman come highly recommended.  All the staff are fully qualified and insured beauty therapists, provide a vast range of treatments and come to the comfort of The Cottage Beyond leaving you with more time to enjoy and relax in your luxury surroundings.  You can contact Sue direct to discuss your needs.  email- sarsuzy@gmail.com  or mob 07725989981

Just down in the beautiful village of Bathealton (half a mile down the hill) resides one truly talented artist - Tilly WIllis.  You can admire some of her paintings on TCB's walls.  Feel free to give her a call and ask to take a look around her studio and you may well end up taking home one of her beautiful works.  She also undertakes portraits and if this is something you have always been meaning to have done, whilst you are staying may be the perfect opportunity.  A portrait is a lovely family heirloom and a reminder to future generations of what the old boy/girl looked like.
She works very quickly, making the process painless and fun and charges reasonable prices depending on size and amount of detail.  http://www.tillywillis.com/  tel: 01984 624459

Many guests are staying at TCB to mark and celebrate special occassions. Whilst these days we all have cameras to hand how many of those images are mantlepiece material?  Why not hire your own professional phototgrapher to encapsulate the big day?  Emily Fairweather lives locally and is happy to come to TCB to take take that extra special shot that will provide a much treasured, lasting image for you.  http://www.emilyfairweatherphotography.co.uk

Ever wanted to learn how to become an Archer or shoot at clays then Birds Hill Days can help.  They're based locally and willingly come to TCB and use one of our many fields in which to do this.  They bring all the equipment, set it up and then you can have all the fun under the watchful eye and guidance of highly qualified, experienced instructors.    http://birdshilldays.com  07748 498457
