Our Cabins in Somerset

Somerset, the land of the summer people.  Way back when, the Somerset Levels with their mositure rich pastures were the summer attraction for herders to take their livestock for grazing. But Somerset encompassed so much more.  Whilst famous for the "Levels", submerged under water in the 2013-14 floods and plays host to the incredible Starling murmerations come winter, it also has some spectacular hills.  The Mendips with their amazing limestone caves, the Blackdowns Hills and the Quantocks, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Brendon Hills and Exmoor.  It is a large rural county in the South West of England, famous for it's orchards and cider, and is ranked in the top 10 counties by size.
