Nice presents for the house and celebration cake for the changeover crew.

It's amazing to realise that The Cottage Beyond (TCB) has just turned Four!  When we converted our family home into a luxury self catering holiday house we never realised how popular it would become.  With strong bookings this year, 2017 looking good and with a smattering of bookings already for 2018 and 2019, it looks like we will have many more celebrations ahead.  Each year we like to give the house a few presents and this year it received many new quirky pieces for the kitchen, new table mats and a ball for the pool.  With our committment to continuously and vigorously maintain and upgrade the house to even higher standards it is always having new items added to it's inventory - but on this occasion we took the liberty of calling them presents!  The changeover crew greatly enjoyed the cake and the festive balloons were appreciated by the incoming guests who were celebrating an 18th and a 70th birthday.

Over the last year we have upgraded futniture in three of the bedrooms, transformed the snug, added a boules court and purchased new crockery.  TCB is a little like the Forth Road Bridge, if we ever get to the end of our redecoration/refurbishment program we will start back at the beginning again.   Our next targets for improvement and upgrading are Bedroom 3 and the decking area beside the house.  We are hoping to create an even better and larger outdoor living space for guests to enjoy......watch this space!

The Cottage Beyond is a popular venue for many great milestone birthday celebrations, so it's wonderful to be able to celebrate it's great day too.  Many Happy Returns TCB.
